This dining table is custom made in China. The solid wood boards are cut to size and joined. The stone is cut to size and honed.
Fissures, small cracks, areas of cloudiness and other organic characteristics occur naturally within marble. Organic characteristics are to be expected. The veins are unique to each piece, orientation, color and pattern of veining cannot be customized. General signs of wear, exposure to elements, or organic characteristics in the marble are not considered craftsmanship errors.
ero Marquina is a black natural stone that originates from the Marquina region in Spain. This stone is known for its deep, dark color and bright white veins that run through it, giving it a stylish and luxurious appearance.
It is important to know that Nero Marquina contains natural imperfections, which means that the material is never perfect. Just like with Carrara marble, the following imperfections are normal:
Porosity: The porosity of Nero Marquina can vary from piece to piece. Some pieces are very porous and have numerous small holes and cavities on the surface, while others have far fewer pores and a smoother texture.
Fossils: Fossil inclusions in Nero Marquina can vary in size and shape. They can look like small black dots, crystalline spots, or large, irregular shapes that run through the stone.
Cracks: Natural cracks or fracture lines in the stone can vary in size and depth. Some are very thin and barely noticeable, while others are wide and deep. These cracks add character to the stone and give the surface an organic feel.
Stains: Impurities in Nero Marquina can look like dark spots or streaks on the surface of the stone. These stains can vary in size and density, depending on the amount of impurities in the stone.

Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece.
If the countertop need to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.
Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to ensure the goods won't easily break.
After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strengthen stability.
