Black Galaxy Granite is a durable material that can withstand daily use and does not require extensive upkeep. When utilized in high-traffic locations, there is a risk of scratching. Dust, sand, and debris can all cause scuffs and scratches to appear conspicuously on a dark surface. While granite is challenging and durable, it is still important to use caution, particularly around the edges and corners. It is a reasonably brittle substance that can crack or break when struck abruptly with a complex instrument.
Black Galaxy granite is unique among natural stones because it does not require sealing. It is pretty dense and does not absorb much at all. If a sealer is applied, it will not be absorbed and may result in streaking or a hazy finish on the surface. Spills do not always absorb and stain instantly, but they must be cleaned immediately. Acidic drinks can harm stones and should be avoided whenever feasible. Although specialty cleaners are available, a warm, soapy cloth or sponge should suffice in most cases.

Quality Grade
We classify it into 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hair lines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different qualities mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece. If the countertop needs to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.


Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to make sure the goods won't be easily broken. After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strengthen its stability.
