Granite is a natural stone that forms under high pressure and high temperatures, making it heat resistant. Granite ranks 6 out of 10 on the Measurement of Hardness scale, with 10 being the hardest and most durable mineral.
Because granite is so heat resistant, pans directly from the oven or stovetop will not damage your granite countertop. Hot items up to 1,200° F do not damage the granite, and these countertops act to draw heat away from hot items, making them an ideal place to cool hot food dishes. However, using a cork coaster or trivet on your counter is still a good idea because hot items can damage the sealant on your granite countertop. If this happens, simply reseal the countertop; the granite is unharmed.
Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece.

Loading
