Pietra del Cardoso is a deep-blue-gray metamorphic rock made from fine granite particles. This natural stone is quarried in the Apuan Alps, just miles from the Leaning Tower Of Pisa in Tuscany. Also known as Pietra Cardosa, this stunning stone is sometimes confused with soapstone due to its appearance. Due to its mineral composition, Pietra del Cardoso has notable compactness and toughness similar to soapstone, but it's more porous, so it requires regular treatment to protect against stains and absorption. Minimal sensitivity to acids makes Pietra Cardosa ideal for kitchen countertops that complement a soapstone sink or backsplash.

Pietra Del Cardosa Premium Granite is Quarried in Italy , Pietra Granite is a naturally occurring ash-grey with deep blue/grey gray veining. Stocked in 3 cm thick polished and Honed slab. Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece.

Loading
