This is because Calacatta slabs are famously more detail-oriented, so the decision can come down to personal choice or which bold aesthetic you prefer. The other (and more pressing) reason is that when you view slabs at a warehouse, most of the time, you can only indicatively see one of the slabs, which represents the block it was cut from as it is positioned at the front or above the others (some blocks can have 80 slabs). So, as every slab can have slightly different color and vein variations from the next, you will find it very difficult to gauge what is actually on offer entirely, and you may not be able to see all the slabs that are available properly. However, thanks to modern technology, this is no longer a problem as most buyers who want to buy Calacatta marble slabs can request high-definition and exact photos of each slab from the supplier to make a final decision; once your decision is made, you can ask for your chosen slab/s to be reserved. Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece.
If the countertop need to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.
Loading
