When finding the perfect Calacatta marble slabs or tiles for your kitchen, bathroom, or floor/wall project, the process can be a little more involved than if you were purchasing Carrara, for example. This is because Calacatta slabs are famously more detail-oriented, and so the decision can come down to personal choice or which bold aesthetic you prefer. When reserving your slabs for your kitchen, bathroom, or floor/wall project, we recommend you ask your supplier if the slabs have any specific issues you may need to be aware of, such as resined natural cracks, tears, or small holes (Barolo).
These issues will all be minor and add a little character to your slabs, as no slab will be available to purchase with any major problems that may threaten its structural integrity. You may also want to see some samples. While this can benefit other marble varieties, with Calacatta, it is not recommended as the sample will come from a different batch, so it will not accurately represent any slabs you may look at due to the different veining patterns and designs.

We classify it into 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hair lines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different qualities mainly for Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece. If the countertop need to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.
Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to make sure the goods won't be easily broken.After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strengthen its stability.
