Volakas marble tiles and slabs in the KA UNITED Factory, with their unique blend of alabaster white and ribbons of silver and pewter, are a standout choice for marble countertops. Its versatility is further enhanced when used in conjunction with backsplashes, marble tile flooring, or accessory walls of the same material. This elegant stone, also available in a white tile layout, seamlessly fits into both classic and contemporary settings.
Named after the village on the outskirts of the mountain Falakro in Northern Greece, the Volakas River is one of the vicinity's maximum dolomite marbles at an altitude of 830 meters, way to the homonymous fossiliferous locality of Volakas.
"VolakasWhite" is a nice-grained stone accented with stripes of diffused taupe gray and ribbons of light brownish veins that go with the flow through an alabaster white history. Its classic principal white setting gives the stone a natural intricacy and watch-catching versatility.

It is a "have-to-prescribe" for bookmatched residential and business tasks. While unsealed, this herbal inventive stone is relatively susceptible to staining and etching; the characteristic swirls that run diagonally across the complete slab with cloudy or wavy patterns, grayish calcite traces, and round-formed calcite crystal have massive-scale movement that provides a distinct aspect of decoration. In contrast, patterns are matched at the seams.

We classify it into 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hair lines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different qualities mainly for Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece. If the countertop need to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.




Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to make sure the goods won't be easily broken.After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strengthen its stability.
