Natural Split Africa Black Nero Impala Granite Exterior Floor and Wall Tiles

As suggested by the name, this marvellous black granite is quarried in Africa, more precisely in South Africa, in the north-eastern province. In this area you'll find great natural parks that are really beautiful in the southern spring, that is from the end of August to the beginning of September.  

Ravishing landscapes and a prosperous wild fauna characterize this area, and, in the savannah, one can often meet freely grazing impalas, an African specie of antelopes, which are responsible for the second name of this granite: Nero Impala.

Like Nero Zimbabwe, Nero Impala belongs to the rock type called gabbro, an igneous rock, originated 2 billion years ago, when, in a gas-fuelled setting, the founded magma slowly cooled down under the earth crust.

The black colour is determined by characteristic elements such as: magnetite, pyrite, chalcopyrite and other minerals.

We classify it into 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hair lines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different qualities mainly for Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece. 
If the countertop need to be seamed, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and thickness are the same.


Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to make sure the goods won't be easily broken. 
After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strengthen its stability.
