Chinese Panda White Marble Slabs for Flooring and Vanity Projects
Material Introduction
Panda White is a Chinese marble with a white field crossed by strong black veins. The contrast is high and the pattern bold, so the stone reads as a graphic material rather than a subtle background. Slabs are polished, which deepens the colour and gives a reflective surface.
Applications
Used for feature walls, reception backdrops, lift lobbies, flooring, stair treads, vanity tops and wall cladding. The strong pattern suits accent surfaces and focal walls; where a calmer look is wanted it is often used on floors in hotel and office interiors.
Advantages
The black and white contrast gives a strong architectural look without added decoration. Marble takes a high polish, so the surface reflects light and the white field brightens interiors. Square-cut tiles from the same blocks allow floor and wall surfaces to be matched.
Care and Maintenance
Marble is calcium-based and sensitive to acids. Wipe wine, citrus, vinegar and acidic cleaners immediately, and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Seal after installation and reseal depending on use. Use mats at entrances to reduce grit tracking, and trivets under hot objects.
