Labradorite blue granite, also known as Lemurian blue, is a dark colored granite embellished with wonderful blue and light blue reflections.
Labradorite blue granite slabs are mined in Madagascar in good quantities and large blocks can also be ordered. Wanting to be more precise from a petrographic point of view, Labradorite blue granite represents a typology similar but not identical to granite. Labradorite blue granite is also very hard and resistant to frost but, unlike granite, it has characteristic reflections called labradorescences which make Labradorite blue granite a semi-precious stone also used for making jewellery.
Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, and edge finish to see if they meet the customers' requirements, one piece by piece.

Loading
