Labradorite Lemurian Blue Granite Countertops
Labradorite Blue is a transparent to opaque granite with vitreous to oily chips.These are mostly blue and yellow. Labradorite Blue has the particularity of presenting metallic reflections. It is a noble stone that is exclusively suitable for interior spaces.Most labradorite has a base color of medium to dark gray. However, its unique reflective property, "labradorescence", causes many colors to flash as light hits its surface, including brilliant blues, aquas, yellows, oranges, purples, and pinks, depending on where it was sourced and the way the light hits it.
The most common labradorite colors are mixtures of blues, greens, and golds.
The rarest labradorite colors are fuschias, pinks, and purples.
Labradorite may be opaque, translucent, or transparent. Only the translucent variety produces the popular shimmering color play that labradorite is known for.

Labradorite Lemurian Blue is typically granite. There might be some confusion in the naming here. Labradorite and Lemurian Blue are generally different materials with distinctive origins and properties.Labradorite Lemurian Blue, on the other hand, refers to a type of granite mainly extracted in Brazil and Madagascar. This granite exhibits pearly blue hues and intricate patterns, making it an stunning option for Kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities or walls & floors applications.The two stones, Labradorite and Lemurian Blue granite, are different in composition, origin, and usage, even if they share the blue shiny hues in its surface. Labradorite is mostly a mineral used for design objects and jewelry, while Lemurian Blue granite is a natural stone primarily used in applications like countertops, bathrooms, dining tables and other design uses.
Quality Grade
We classify it into three grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with a width of less than 2 mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2 and 5 mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice: all grade A pieces; some pieces may not have pink hair lines but typically have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality, with different attributes mainly for the Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.
