The quarries of Pietra Del Carsoso have good productivity and the blocks usually have medium-small dimensions. Large blocks suited to cut slabs are in fact relatively rare. Pietra Del Cardoso is widely used in honed finishing for interiors or with other rough finishes such as flamed or bush-hammered for exteriors. It is an excellent building material, usable for steps, thresholds, window sills, floors, claddings or other furnishing elements such as fireplaces or washbasins.

Quality Grade
We classify it as 3 grades:
Grade A: few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width less than 2mm per piece;
Grade B: a few pink hair lines & 1-3 crystal lines with width between 2-5mm per piece;
Grade C: a few pink hair lines & some crystal lines with all different widths.
So the qualities will be like these:
1st choice ... All grade A pieces, some pieces may not have pink hair lines but normally have crystal lines;
commercial choice ... with both grade A & grade B;
Low quality ... with different qualities mainly for Mid-East market, certainly will have some bad pieces not accepted.

Professional Inspection
Before packing, our inspector will inspect all the goods' surface finish, thickness, edge finish whether meet customers' requirement, one piece by one piece. 
If the countertop need to be seam, we will also put the seamed tops together to make sure the color and the thickness in the same.


Loading
Experienced and professional workers will load the crates carefully to make sure the goods won't be easy to be broken. 
After loading, fumigated wooden bundles will be braced between each crate to strength the stability.
